The purpose of this workshop is to bring together clinicians and established investigators in basic and translational neurodegeneration to discuss and expand this exciting field. In addition, this workshop is a forum where PhD and postdoctoral students can meet and network with established investigators.

The Patagonia Synuclein Workshop, spanning 3 days, 17 - 19 November 2025, will include lectures on the structure, physiology and pathology of alpha-synuclein as well as the development of therapeutics and biomarkers for alpha-synucleinopathies.

The scientific program includes talks by the top international experts in the field as well as in-depth discussions during the panel sessions. There are opportunities for promoted talks and poster presentations of your work.

The workshop will provide a perfect opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the field from basic science to translational and clinical studies.

Attendance will be limited to PhD and postdoctoral students presenting a poster or having a promoted talk, making it an ideal setting for discussion and learning with established investigators.

The participation of Researchers and Clinicians will be balanced between basic, clinical and translational research groups.
